Brand reliability

Brand Reliability — Cookware Trust Scores

Review-derived reliability scores for cookware brands across six dimensions, with per-brand product and complaint evidence.

Every score below is computed offline from aggregated Amazon reviews (2023 vintage). A brand is scored on the same six dimensions as individual products, so a high score means consistent quality across its catalogue — not one lucky product.

Top brands by review-derived reliability

N<3 brands are excluded. Scores are review-derived and not a warranty or safety claim.

How to read a brand score

  • Complaint rate (30%) — share of reviews reporting defects; higher is better after inversion.
  • Durability (25%) — long-term signals from reviews written a year or more after purchase.
  • Review consistency (15%) and long-term satisfaction (15%) — stability of ratings over time.
  • Maintenance ease (10%) and warranty signals (5%) — care burden and guarantee mentions.

FAQ

Why is a small brand missing?

Brands with fewer than 3 sampled products are not scored, and brands without review evidence are omitted rather than guessed.

Is a brand score the same as a product score?

No. A product score describes one item; a brand score rolls up its products, so a strong brand can still contain a weak product.
